Lenin's Hut in Razliv, commemorative pin in silver, 1970.
Lenin's Hut in Razliv, commemorative pin in silver, 1970.
Pendant is 14.1 mm tall (incl. eyelet) x 9.4 mm, suspension
device is 12.4 x 13.8 mm. Highly unusual design. The pendant
shows inscription "Razliv" and an image of the hut used by
Lenin as a hideout in July - August 1917 while on the run from
law (soon after the warrant for his arrest on espionage
charges was issued by the Provisional Government). The brick
wall surrounding the hut is a part of the memorial complex.
Both the suspension and the pendant show silver hallmarks
"875" with Cyrillic "L" indicating Leningrad assay inspection
and maker marks "0 LYu" (Russkie Samotsvety workshop in
Leningrad, 1970).
This is one of the less common of the "VIP" Lenin Centenary
series of badges in silver.
