In outstanding, excellent condition. The gilt finish is
exceptionally well preserved and bright, especially on the
obverse. There are some tiny scuff marks, mostly to the
reverse, but they are not really detractive. Includes Soviet
style suspension device with scarce original ribbon. This
example is among the best we have handled - most others show
much more wear.
Established in 1980, this medal like most other Afghanistan
awards of the communist period was manufactured in the Soviet
