KGB Border Guard / Spetsnaz Winter Uniform, in "Computer"
Camouflage pattern, dated 1987.
Includes camouflage outer tunic in Soviet plus padded
button-in cold weather liner, and matching pair of pants
also with detachable liner.
The tunic is an early model with breast and hip pockets
closures secured by hidden buttons as opposed to Velcro.
Plain shoulder straps in the same camouflage fabric. The
"fur" collar is in wool pile, an integral part of the
detachable liner. There is a compartment below the neck for
expandable hood in olive drab water resistant fabric. Pistol
pocket sewn into left breast of jacket is lined in tough
synthetic material and has an integral lanyard cord. The
sleeves have woolen cuffs for extra protection for the
Both the jacket and liner are marked 50-4 for size, have
quality control stamps and show a 1987 date of manufacture.
The jacket also has a Soviet manufacturer's stamp of a
factory in the city of Pereayslavl Khmelnintsky, Ukraine.
The jacket will fit someone with a 48" chest and a 30" total
length. The sleeve length is 25" from sleeve seam to bottom
of the cuff. Obviously meant for a slender and athletic

as well as two cargo pockets on the upper leg fronts.
Adjustable size tabs at the waist; drawstrings for tight fit
at the pant cuffs; tie down stirrups at the bottom of each
