M 1954 dress wave blue tunic of a Major General, mid- to late-1950s. In very heavy napped wool virtually identical to that used on the M 45 "Victory Parade" uniforms. Beautiful gold embroidery on the cuffs and collar, bright red piping, and detailed, well struck gilt brass buttons. Approximate size is a liitle larger than a 42. Complete with trousers. If one were to own only one example of a dress Soviet uniform, this would be the one to have!

Double-breasted, with raspberry piping on lapel and cuffs, gold embroidery on lapels. Among other awards/medals indicated by the sewn-on ribbons are the "20th Anniversary of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army" medal and the Order of Lenin. Approximately a size 42.
